What You Need for Class
Wear sweat pants, shorts or biking shorts so that you have freedom to move your hips and legs. Also
wear a comfortable tank top or t-shirt. Make sure that your stomach is empty and be prepared to take
class in your bare feet. At the end of class, we do a relaxation pose laying down flat during which your
body cools down. If you tend to be cold, bring sweat pants, a sweatshirt or sweater and socks for this
Yoga mats, straps and blocks are provided. If you have a mat and a preferred strap and/or block, you are
welcome to use them. Please silence cell phones.
The studio has lots of natural light and a beautiful, clean bamboo floor with a wonderful feel. The space is
open 20 minutes before each scheduled class to allow time to change.
Parking, Location & Public Transportation
Limited parking is available in back of the building. There is also ample parking in the immediate area with
no significant restrictions.
Studio Yoga 6 is within a 10-minute walk from Berkeley's 4th Street Shopping, and directly accessible from
A. C. Transit bus lines 80, 81, 51B, 36, 72, 72R and 72M. The studio is also a secure bike locking location.
